The Kindness Festival was held at the Buzzards Bay Scenic Park for the third consecutive year on September 9, 2023.

The Kindness Festival has grown exponentially since its inception two years ago. This event is Kindhearts for Kids (KH4K) biggest fundraising opportunity of the year. The Kindness Festival takes considerable time and a small army of people to plan and prepare and begins about three months in advance. To see all of this effort come to fruition, be embraced by the community and continue grow each year fills our hearts! We are humbled and honored to have had so many of you join us for this fabulous event!

We are fortunate and grateful to have had so many incredible sponsors help to make this event possible. This year, due in full to sponsorship, we were able to offer the Kids Zone free of charge!

Please join us in applauding our sponsors for their contributions to the Festival and we hope you will show them some love and support our local businesses!

Our vendors this year had so much to offer shopping enthusiasts. Clothing, jewelry, paintings, crochet and so much more! Many of the products are handcrafted and clearly ddisplay how talented these vendors/artisans are!

We also invited youth vendors to participate and we were so proud and happy to have them with us at the Festival sharing their products and smiles!!

We were fortunate to have some spectacular entertainment at the Kindness Festival. Music was provided by Stephanie Viva-our fabulous DJ for the day. Center Stage Academy blew us away with their fabulous dance demonstrations. The Pound-martial arts showed their strength and discipline with a magnificent demonstration. Music Together of Cape Cod lead the kids in a music exploration exercise and Pine Meadow Alpaca Farm brought some of their animal friends along for the kids to see and pet. We were blown away by all of the talent these folks brought to us and are so thankful they came!

The Kindness Festival always brings along with it some astounding food! This year we were favored with food provided by Frosty Friends Ice cream, Shore Fire pizza and Love Kona Pizza.

The Kid Zone is one of the big hits of the Festival each year. With many games to play, lots of arts and craft opportunities and even a little bit of education (learning abou recycling at one station-and yoga at another), it's no wonder this is such a popular spot at the Festival! We love seeing all of the smiles too!

Our volunteers are such an integral part of making the Festival a success. We love their energy, their dedication, their hearts and the joy they give and get! Thank you all!

The KH4K founder, Nicole Mitchell, whose smile is as big as her heart, takes time out for a quick hug and a pose.

The Kindness Festival is not only a fun event for our community, it also helps to raise money for the KH4K foundation and its mission to support kids and teens in foster and kinship care. Thank you all who attended, participated and volunteered for helping us on that mission! We'll see you again next year!!
